Who are we?

The Natomas Homeschool Alliance is a coalition of homeschooling families working together to improve the educational opportunities for our children.  By pooling our expertise, we have a diverse skill set from which to draw.  After working together for more than 5 years, we have decided to launch Natomas Homeschool Alliance to provide a more organized structure and to attract more opportunities for homeschoolers to the Natomas community. 

Tiffany Millen serves as the coordinator.  Tiffany has been involved in homeschooling for more than 30 years.  In the early 80s, she experienced homeschooling as a student.  From '86 to '90 she was employed by Living Heritage Academy (now called Lighthouse Academy) which served as an umbrella school for more than 8,000 homeschooling students around the world.  Tiffany has a bachelor's degree in education specializing in curriculum development.  She has done freelance work developing curriculum for School of Tomorrow Publishing and Responsive Education Solutions, the largest charter school organization in Texas.  She was a parent educator to her own 4 children K-12.
